No Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, positivity rate 0.61%

No Covid-19 deaths were reported in 24 hours till 8am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,131 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.

At least 26 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the 24 hours. The total number of cases rose to 19,53,507, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.61 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.83 percent, said the press release.

A total of 4,250 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 169 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,02,760 and the recovery rate at 97.40 percent, added the release.
