No Covid-19 death in 24hrs, positivity rate 1.02%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,445 and the death rate stands at 1.44 percent.

At least 15 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in this 24-hour period. The total number of cases rose to 20,37,919, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 1.02 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.30 percent, said the press release.

A total of 1,476 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 134 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 20,06,567 and the recovery rate is 98.46 percent, added the release.
