No Covid-19 death in 24hrs, positivity rate 0.65%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services.

The current positivity rate is 0.65 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.50 percent, read the release.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,431 and the mortality rate at 1.45 percent.

At least, 20 fresh infections were recorded during this time, taking the total number of cases to 20,36,469, according to the press release.

A total of 3,067 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 177 patients recovered from Covid-19 within the same period.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,85,330 and the recovery rate at 97.49 percent, added the release.
