17 die of Covid-19 in 24 hours in Ctg; positivity rate 32.77%

Seventeen people died of Covid-19 in Chattogram district in 24 hours, till 8am today.

During the 24 hours, 2,792 samples were tested at 10 labs and 915 of them came positive. Among the infected, 641 are from the port city and 274 from different upazilas.

The current positivity rate in the district is 32.77 percent, according to Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office.

A total of 932 people -- 561 in the city and 371 in upazilas -- died of coronavirus in the district so far. In total, 78,436 people were diagnosed with Covid-19.
