15 die of Covid-19 in Kushtia in 24 hours, infection rate 30.91%

Fifteen people died of Covid-19 and four with symptoms in Kushtia in 24 hours, till 8am today.

A total of 841 samples were tested in the meantime of which 260 were positive. Current positivity rate in the district stands at 30.91 percent.

Ashraful Islam, resident medical officer of Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the development to our local correspondent.

He said, 226 people have been admitted to the hospital for coronavirus treatment and 3,428 remained in home isolation during this period.

So far 13,199 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Kushtia district. Of them, 480 patients have died due to the virus.
