11 die with Covid-19, symptoms in a day at 3 Bogura hospitals

Seven people died of Covid-19 and four with symptoms at Covid units of three Bogura hospitals in 24 hours (till 8 am) today.

During this period, 331 samples were tested, and 101 were found positive for the virus. The current positivity rate stands at 30.51 percent, our correspondent reports, quoting deputy civil surgeon Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin.

There are 556 people currently admitted at three hospitals, with an overall caseload of 1,663 Covid-19 positive patients in the district, Mostafizur Rahman said.

At least 160 people have recovered during this period, he added.
