1 Covid-19 death again in 24 hours, 874 cases reported
Positivity rate now 11.03%
At least 874 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
One person died from Covid-19 during the period, raising the death toll from the disease to 29,133.
The Covid-19 death rate at the moment is 1.49 percent.
The current positivity rate is 11.03 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.75 percent.
Meanwhile, with the new infections the total number of cases rose to 19,58,074 added the release.
A total of 7,927 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 84 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,05,983 and the recovery rate at 97.34 percent, added the release.
