Apollo Hospitals Dhaka observed World Kidney Day 2018

Apollo Hospitals Dhaka and Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited have jointly observed the World Kidney Day 2018 in Dhaka recently. A rally and a mini Marathon took place at the Bashundhara Residential Area to aware the general people about kidney health.

A seminar was organised at the Uttara Ladies Club with their members where Dr Fahmida Begum, Consultant Nephrology delivered her speech to aware on kidney diseases in women.

A workshop was arranged at the auditorium of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka for the female staffs where Prof Emeritus Dr Hajera Mahtab, Chief Consultant of Medicine, Bangladesh Institute of Health Science (BIHS) and Halida Hanum Akhter, Chief of Party, NGO Health Service Delivery Project and Country Representative of Pathfinder International, Bangladesh were present as honourable guests.

Another seminar took place at the Westin Dhaka where Dr Nasrin Zulfiqar, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Ms Tamanna Chowdhury, Dietician talked on women's health and nutrition.
