“Ghuri” marks return of Kanchan-Champa

Ilias Kanchan and Champa are to star in a children's film for the first time. The film “Ghuri” is produced by Cinevision Bangladesh and written and directed by young filmmaker Zafar Firoze.

In the '80s, on screen couple Ilias Kanchan and Champa were very popular. Champa said, “I look forward to working with Kanchan again after a long time, but this time we won't be a romantic pair; we will play devoted parents. It feels good to be a part of a different story. Parents, I am sure will bring their children to movie halls to watch this film."

Ilias Kanchan said, “'Ghuri' depicts our responsibility to society, the uncertainties of life and how to overcome them; on the whole it has a unique script.” The songs of the film were penned by Rezaur Rahman Rizvi and Zafar Firoze. The film also features Syed Hasan Imam, child actors Faria, Tabassum, Ahmed, Yasin, Piyan among others.
