Muslims across the country observed Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan, yesterday with due religious fervour and solemnity.

A large number of devotees attended Juma prayers at mosques and offered special munajat, seeking divine blessings for the peace and progress of the country and the Muslim Ummah.

The biggest congregation was at Baitul Mukarram national mosque.

Special arrangements were made to accommodate devotees in mosques in different parts of the capital.

Many congregations spilled over onto the nearby streets at places as mosques lacked enough space for the large number of devotees.

During the Juma prayers, imams delivered sermons on the importance of Ramadan, Itikaf, Eid-ul-Fitr and other religious issues.
