Free Wi-Fi service launched at Bangladesh Secretariat

Bangladesh Secretariat, the administrative heart of Bangladesh, now gets Free Wi-Fi services. On the occasion of launching this service at the secretariat, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister of ICT Division said: "To modernize the two year old administrative works, we have introduced free Wi-Fi in the secretariat. Although the world has moved forward, much of our administrative work was restricted in different strings. Today, we have reduced the influence of red-blue-white and other similar strings." . Special guest, Minister Council Division (Adjustment and Reformation) Acting Secretary, Md. Nazrul Islam, said, "The introduction of free Wi-Fi will act as a milestone in the government's aim to create a digital Bangladesh. The people working here will all be part of Digital Bangladesh." Chaired by S M Ashraful Islam, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council, statements at the free Wi-Fi launching event at the secretariat were also made by Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Additional Secretary of the ICT Division, Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director of High-Tech Park, Saiful Islam, Project Director of Info Government Phase-2 Project, along with other high officials of different ministries and divisions.
