Police seized two shotguns and several bullets raiding the houses of two associates of fugitive Narayanganj city councillor Nur Hossain.
Nur is a prime accused of abduction and killing of seven people including Nazrul Islam who was panel mayor of the Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC).
Jamal and Nur Uddin, aides to Nur Hossain, were licence holders of the seized shotguns, Abdul Matin, officer-in-charge of Siddhirganj Police Station, told our Narayanganj correspondent.
The district administration yesterday cancelled the licenses of 11 firearms including the two, owned by Nur Hossain and his aides, the OC Matin added.
