Fire at Citibank Motijheel branch

Firefighters doused a fire that broke out in the capital's Motijheel area this morning at a Citibank branch.

There were no casualties reported from the fire that broke out and was confined to the second floor of the 3 storey building around 10:10am, fire service department sources said.

Four units of firefighters were deployed to bring the fire under control. They managed to bring the blaze under control around 12:15 pm.

The reason of the fire could not be known immediately.
