Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Entrepreneurs organises General Assembly

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Entrepreneurs, a non-profit international non-governmental organisation, organised its 2021 general assembly (GA) at a city hotel today.

The executive committee of JCI for 2021 was declared at the GA, according to a press release.

Outgoing Local President Arefeen Raafi Ahmed conducted the assembly where national governing board (NGB) members of JCI Bangladesh, executive board members and general members of JCI Dhaka Entrepreneurs were present.

Of the new committee, Arefeen Ahmed Rafi was elected as president; Lisan Hoque as secretary general; Ashan Ullah Chowdhury as treasurer; Md Ali Reasat Khan as general legal council; Md Shariful Alam Shabuj and Nurul Hasnat as directors.

Kudrat-E-Ebtihaj handed over the chain to the newly elected local President Raafi. The existing executive committee will continue until 31 December, the release added.

JCI comprises young icons aged between 18 and 40 years who work to create a positive impact on society. It has members in more than 120 countries.

In Bangladesh, JCI is working with 14 local chapters, and JCI Dhaka Entrepreneurs as one of them.
