Record 14,001 MW electricity generated in the country

The country has generated 14,001 megawatts of electricity which broke all the records of electricity production in the country past.

The country saw this record number of electricity production yesterday night at around 9:00 pm, Saiful Islam Chowdhury, director of Public Relations of Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB), shared the information to The Daily Star last night.

Earlier, on April 27 last year, the country generated a maximum of 13,792 MW of electricity.
