28 python hatchlings, born through an incubator at the Chattogram Zoo,  have been released in the deep forest area of Sitakunda Eco-park of Chattogram yesterday.

The hatchlings were released one by one in the presence of the Sitakunda UNO, Chattogram Zoo officials, and forest officials.

Chattogram Zoo's secretary of governing body Ruhul Amin told The Daily Star, "Twenty-eight pythons were born out of 31 eggs through incubator on June 22. Shahadat Hossain Shuvo, a veterinary surgeon and curator, took care of the incubator. As they are growing up, we have released them in the deep forest to help them adapt to the natural environment."

"Earlier in 2019, the zoo authority released another 25 python hatchlings in the forest after eggs were hatched through an incubator for the first time in the country," he added.
