Bangladesh's combined team, which flew to Turkey after the devastating earthquake in Turkey and its neighbouring Syria, rescued a teenage girl alive and recovered three bodies from the rubble.

Shahjahan Shikder, deputy assistant director (media) of fire service and civil defence, told The Daily Star tonight.

The girl is 17 years old, said the official.

Earlier, a 46-member combined rescue team that includes 24 members from the Bangladesh Army, 10 medical professionals, and 12 personnel from the fire service and civil defence reached Turkey on February 9.
