46-member Bangladesh rescue team returns from Turkey

The 46-member Bangladesh team, which conducted rescue operations in the earthquake ravaged Turkey, returned home this evening.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed it to The Daily Star.

On February 9, the team led by Lt Col Md Ruhul Amin, PSC, of the Bangladesh Army reached Turkey and started the search and rescue operations.

The team included 24 members from the Bangladesh Army, 10 medical professionals, and 12 fire service personnel.

A press briefing will be held at Dhaka Cantonment tonight in this regard.
