Work commitments led to hasty wedding plans: Tasnia Farin

After getting married to her long time beau, Tasnia Farin basked in four magical days on a private island, a mere 40-minute speedboat ride away from the Maldivian capital, Male. The couple returned to Bangladesh recently, but Tasnia Farin's professional commitments promptly whisked her away to Australia.

Reflecting on her transition to married life, Tasnia Farin expressed to Prothom Alo, "I have yet to notice any significant changes. For now, I'm residing at my father's house. My work commitments are keeping me occupied, making it somewhat challenging to fully immerse myself in married life. Because of my work commitments, I couldn't have a relaxed wedding experience. I was involved in shooting for a web film until the 10th of this month. Subsequently, I tied the knot on the 11th, followed by a dubbing session on the 12th, and finally went on my honeymoon on the 13th. It's been a whirlwind experience, and I'm still coming to terms with this new phase of my life. It feels like life is continuing its course as before."

Farin will be shooting two web films directed by Shihab Shaheen in Australia. Then she will be working in another web series in Bangladesh. 

In response to whether there will be any big wedding ceremony, Farin answered, "Though I would love to have a grand event, it's hard to predict at the moment. Given my packed schedule, organising another ceremony might be challenging. Shooting for a new web film is set to begin right after my return from Australia, and this busy schedule extends until next November. Additionally, my husband, Rafid, is scheduled to depart for London on August 22. Considering these commitments, it might not be feasible to arrange a larger event in the near future."

Farin's husband has graduated in computer science and engineering from the UK, and will work there from September. The couple got married on August 11, and flew off to Maldives on August 13.
