Update on Daisy Ahmed's health condition

Renowned actress and Rabindra Sangeet artiste Daisy Ahmed is currently under treatment at the ICU unit of United Hospital Limited, informs her daughter Oindrila Ahmed. She actor was rushed to the hospital after suffering from breathing difficulties and low oxygen levels.

"My mother has been kept under observation. She has intolerable body ache and some kidney-related problems have also surfaced in the recent reports. The doctor has recommended dialysis," mentions Oindrila Ahmed.

Oindrila also shares the other health problems the artiste is facing. "My mother has been unable to eat for a while now. The doctor has also recommended to implant a pacemaker in her heart but they cannot operate until her health stabilizes," she adds. 

Daisy Ahmed had lost consciousness on September 4. She had previously tested positive for Covid-19 as well, adding to various old-age ailments that she suffers from. She was hospitalised the following day.

The artiste in under the supervision of Dr Kaisar Nasrullah Khan. "I ask for prayers for my mother's speedy recovery," says Oindrila Ahmed.

Daisy Ahmed is the wife of late eminent actor Bulbul Ahmed. Her daughter, Oindrila Ahmed, is a popular actress, while her sister Laila Hasan is a renowned dancer.
