Trailer for Vidya Balan starrer ‘Neeyat’ out

Renowned actor Vidya Balan shocked fans today by dropping the trailer for her upcoming project "Neeyat". Directed by Anu Menon, the film is a murder mystery where the "Jalsa" star will be playing the role of CBI detective Mira Rao.

Sharing the trailer, Vidya Balan wrote in her post, "Today's Weather Forecast: Cloudy with a chance of murder! 'Neeyat' Trailer Out NOW! We've made this film with a lot of hard work. Need all your support now. Show the 'Neeyat' trailer some love! 'Neeyat' releases on July 7, only in theatres."

The trailer portrays the death of billionaire Authish Kapoor at his own birthday party, surrounded by friends and family. Apparently, the man had jumped off a cliff in front of everyone. However, Detective Mira Rao believes the case to be a murder and that the killer is hiding amongst the guests. Now with a 'mysterious murder' to solve and a room full of distressed suspects—Mira has a long night ahead of her.

"Neeyat" also stars Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, and Danesh Razvi. The film is set for theatrical release on July 7.
