Trailer for Kajol starrer web-series ‘The Trial - Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha’ out

Popular Indian actor Kajol is all set to surprise the fans with her upcoming OTT web-series debut titled "The Trial - Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha". Today, the "My Name Is Khan" actor shared the trailer of her new project on her social media accounts.

Sharing a short glimpse of the web-series, Kajol wrote on her post, "Trials don't only happen in the courtroom—they are also present in real life. Watch Noyonika Sen Gupta (Kajol) face the toughest trial of her life – Hotstar Special 'The Trial - Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha', streaming from 14th July only on Disney+ Hotstar."

The trailer depicts the life of a retired lawyer, Noyonika Sen Gupta, who is forced to return to her law practice after her husband is arrested for accepting bribes and sexual favours. However, amongst all the heartbreaks, love and betrayal, Kajol still decides to stand beside her husband and fight his case.

"The Trial - Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha" is adapted from the American series titled, "The Good Wife". The series which features Kajol, Jisshu U Sengupta, Alyy Khan, and Sheeba Chadha, among others will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar this July 14.
