Trailer of Awal Reza's ‘Megh Roddur Khela’ dropped

"Megh Roddur Khela" follows the story of 15-year-old Ryan, who spends most of his time on the internet, frequenting websites on the mysteries of science and technology. After learning about a rare species of snails that have uranium in their shells, Ryan sets out on a journey to find these snails—hoping to solve the power crisis in the country.

On his journey, six of his friends join in. All seven of the friends go on a wonderful adventure, encountering many hurdles on the way to finding these magical snails. Carrying forward no matter what challenge they face, encapsulating the spirit of the Liberation War, the friends are ready to do whatever necessary to find the magical snails.

To find out what happens next, viewers have to watch Awal Reza's coming of age movie, "Megh Roddur Khela"—which is set to release in theatres on December 30. The movies official trailer and poster were launched on December 16. The movie received a grant from the Ministry of Information in the fiscal year of 2019-2020.

When talking about the film, Director Awal Reza shared that "Megh Roddur Khela" is a coming of age story, which will also showcase how rebellious teenagers resist militancy. Issues around health and psychological issues will also be prominently featured in the film.

The story, screenplay and dialogue for the film were written by Awal Reza, while the filmography and editing was done by TW Sainik and Junaid Halim, respectively. The music was provided by Foad Nasser Babu, with Elita Karim, TW Sainik, Sujan Arif and Ashraful Bari Rumon providing their voices for the film's songs. The film's title sponsor is Ispahani.
