Tom Hiddleston plays for England XI in Soccer Aid charity match

On Sunday, the annual Soccer Aid for United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) took place the Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium. In a star-studded game that saw the likes of celebrities and football stars, the World XI team beat England 4-2.

Celebrities and sports legends, including Tom Hiddleston and Usain Bolt were present for the match, as Soccer Aid for UNICEF's Fund 2023 raised more than £14.6 million by the time the match was over.

The occasion would be a special one for "Loki" star Tom Hiddleston, as this would be his first appearance for England. Speaking about the moment, Tom Hiddleston said: "I'm out there with some of the greatest players in the world and my resolution is to just work hard, run all day, stay alert."

The star would also encourage fans to donate and light up the stadium to ensure the charity event would be a success.
