Three celebrity breakups that shocked Dhallywood

2022 was a year of celebrity marriages, as fans witnessed five couples—Pori Moni and Razz, Purnima and Robin, Mim and Soni, Pritom and Shahtaj, as well as Ziaul Haque Polash and Nafisa Rumman Mehnaz all tying the knot.

Now, the industry has been left shocked with the news of three celebrity separations, almost back to back, in the last six days.

On December 26, everyone was caught off guard with the news of Zinat Sanu Swagata and Rashed Zaman. The couple were in a relationship for seven years, and married for six. Yet, the fact that they parted ways from each other, two years ago, only came out in December.

Two days later, the divorce between famed actress Zakia Bari Mamo and director Shihab Shaheen was announced. Just like the news of their marriage, they both confirmed that they had been separated for a while and got divorced back in 2020.

Finally, the most talked about celebrity couple, Pori Moni and Sariful Razz—who announced their marriage last January—are also on the brink of ending. 

Pori Moni's Facebook statuses, saying that she would no longer be with Razz, shocked everyone beyond their imagination.

While further announcements are yet to be made in this regard, it seems that Pori Moni and Razz could soon be parting ways.
