‘The Witcher’ season 3 trailer offers Cavill’s last look as Geralt

After garnering massive traction from the audience for "The Witcher" season one and two, Netflix is back with the third installment of the series. Based the Andrzej Sapkowski's book with the same name, the OTT platform recently shared the trailer for the new season on social media.

Netflix captioned on its post, "The Warriors are back with another round of chaos, danger, and a set of sharp swords. The Witcher Season 3 begins 29th June."

The trailer gives the fans a glimpse into "The Witcher" universe, where Geralt is seen teaching Ciri, the ways of Witchers. However, now the father and daughter figure have to survive a war threatening to destroy their lives with Ciri at the centre of it all.

"The Witcher" series stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Anna Shaffer and Eamon Farren among others. This new season will also count as Henry Cavill's last appearance as Geralt of Rivia in the show.

 The new season of "The Witcher" is set to premiere on Netflix this June 29, followed by the second part of the series coming on July 27.
