However, many have been talking ill about the "Leader: Amie Bangladesh" actor due to the Bubly and Apu Biswas controversy.

Earlier today, noted musician Asif Akbar expressed his support for Shakib Khan on social media. The playback singer wrote, "I have been watching the charisma of Shakib Khan, our nation's top actor, for twenty years now. Our careers started around the same time. As a playback artiste, I even had the opportunity to sing some songs in Shakib Khan's films. Although we didn't meet much, we share a friendly relationship."

Mentioning that it is quite normal for the public to be interested in the personal lives of stars and comment on their personal issues, Asif continued in the post, "Shakib Khan's name alone continues to draw audiences to cinema halls, despite the eyes of the booming Indian film industry. And that's why he is King Khan. If Shakib Khan stars in a film, thousands of families get to earn a living, and the industry gets 'oxygen', creating new opportunities for many.
