Stars hope for a fresh start
Bidding 2022 a proper goodbye, we have welcomed 2023 with renewed hopes and dreams. Stars share with us some of theirs, in this feature.
I want to be consistent: Jaya Ahsan
May this year bring happiness and prosperity to everyone. I can say that 2022 been a great one, and I want to be consistent. I want to explore more with the roles I play, both in Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali films.
Will not take too many projects: Bidya Sinha Mim
Last year was a turning point in my career. The way that the audience showered me with their love is priceless. I want to keep working the same way this year as well. I was never into working in too many projects at a time. I want to focus more on working in good projects.
Want to be more industrious: Ferdous
In 2022, I was busy working in films, hosting shows, and working in Tollywood after a break. I have completed working in two films—one of which is based on the Liberation War of Bangladesh, and the other is focuses on the life of Sheikh Russell. Since acting is everything to me, in the coming year, I want to work more in films.
I will bring more variety to my works: Apurba
I am happy to have spent a year where I could make the audience happy with lot of good projects. I want to dedicate this year to my audience, and work in projects, that will make them happy. I have always believed in variety. At the end of the day, they remember us for our works. I always want to remain alive through my works.
Hoping to get cast in brave stories: Mehazabien Chowdhury
I hope that this year brings joy to everyone. I expect that directors will come forward in telling more brave stories with variety and new techniques. I want to work in those projects, and I hope that my fellow colleagues also get chances to work more in the industry.
The previous year was great for me. I am happy with the projects I have worked in, and that I could reach the audiences' hearts with my acting. May this flow continue.
Want to work on both sides of the border: Mithila
Even if I want to, I can't give more time to acting, because I have another profession. Within my limitations, I always try to be part of quality works. I wish to add some more good projects in my career. I want to spare some time for working in both Bangladeshi and Kolkata films.
