Shamol Mawla as Noshu in ‘Shondhya Namer Nodi’

"Mohanagar" star Shamol Mawla is all set to surprise the fans with his brand-new avatar in Himu Akram's upcoming project "Shondhya Namer Nodi". The actor is currently busy shooting the telefiction at a remote location of Kishoreganj. The film's crew spent four grueling days shooting in the rain on Haor.

Directed by Himu Akram, Shamol will be seen sharing the screen with Mihi Ahsan in "Shondhya Namer Nodi".

The tele-fiction narrates the love story of Noshu and Shondhya. Noshu is a ferryman by profession and drives a troller boat that Jamal Mia has lent him. Every afternoon, Noshu waits for Shondhya, whom he lovingly calls 'Shondhatara'. The two meet discreetly and spend their day together, roaming around the bazar and enjoying jilapi, taking photos at the studio, and so on. As time passes, their love for each other continues to grow. 

Sharing about the tele-fiction, the director mentioned, "It's a mystery story. When it comes to story-telling, I always look for a lot of layers. I've tried the same here."

He continued, "There are also two groups among directors. One group directs to tell a story, while the other works for fame and hit production. I've always been on the storytelling team—stories that seem like documents of time to me. Not everyone can be a story teller and even if they can be, they choose not to. 'Shondhya Namer Nodi' represents those untold stories.''

Concerning the tele-film, Shamol Mawla and Mahi shared, "'Shondha Namer Nodi' is a unique story and amazing sceneries. Not may directors dare to bring such a story before the audience. From that perspective, it really is a work that will melt your heart."

The tele-film will be aired on RTV this coming Eid. Apart from Shamol Mawla and Mahi, the tele-fiction also stars Ashish Khondokar, Mo Mo Morshed, and Shatabdi Wadud among others.
