A Shakib Al Hasan biopic in the works?

Reportedly, sources close to Shakib have informed the media that a Bangladeshi OTT platform has proposed the athlete to make a film based on his life. So far, no biopics have been made based on a Bangladeshi cricketer's life before.

Speculation swirls as the supposed OTT platform might be Chorki as the platform's CEO Redoan Rony was recently spotted sharing the frame with Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan during writer Anisul Hoque's birthday celebrations.

Later in the day the filmmaker also posted a separate photo with the athlete writing, "The combination of talent and passion is an awe-inspiring force that yields extraordinary outcomes".

Previously, in 2011 Shakib had informed about a biopic during a Cricfrenzy live. However, the filming was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
