‘RRR’ won the Oscar because of me: Ajay Devgn

During the promotion of his movie, "Bhola" on The Kapil Sharma Show, Ajay Devgn stated that "RRR" won the Oscar because of him.

Congratulating Ajay on the Oscar win by "Naatu Naatu", Kapil asked Ajay whether he had ever imagined being part of a film that would one day win an Oscar?

Ajay replied to him with a straight face, "The film, 'RRR' won the Oscar because of me. If they had seen me dance to 'Naatu Naatu', they would have taken away the award." The answer left most of the audience bursting into laughter.

Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt had a cameo appearance in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus, "RRR"—which starred NTR Jr and Ram Charan in lead roles. The film's song, "Naatu Naatu" won the Oscar in the 'Best Original Song' category.
