'Rowdy Rakhi': Rakhi Sawant to star in her own biopic

Controversial actress Rakhi Sawant is known for her bold statements and for being fully open about her personal life to the media. 

Recently, the actor admitted that she would be starring in her own biopic "Rowdy Rakhi", which will be directed by her brother, Rakesh. 

"Yes, I am doing this film," Rakhi confirmed to Times of India.

"Rakhi is rowdy," her brother said when asked about the title. She doesn't spare anyone who gets in her way."

"Her case against her husband, Adil Khan Durrani, is no longer just hers. "She's fighting for something much bigger," Rakesh added.

Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant has been in the news for quite some time due to her husband Adil Khan Durrani's case. He was arrested on February 7, after the actress filed a number of charges against him, including allegations of extramarital affairs. 

She also claimed that Adil threatened her with murder and filed a complaint alleging he physically assaulted her. Adil is currently incarcerated in Mysore after being charged with raping an Iranian woman.
