Rajkummar Rao announces ‘Stree’ sequel

After the marvelous success of "Stree" back in 2018, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are back again for the sequel of the film, titled "Stree 2". Taking to his social media accounts today, Rajkummar Rao announced film's release.

The "Badhaai Ho" star shared, "What will happen when we 'Stree' and 'Purush' meet again? 'Stree 2'."

Directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt, the film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. According to media reports, the "Stree 2" is expected to hit the theatres this August 31.

Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the Netflix original film, "Bheed", directed by Anubhav Sinha. He is expected to appear next in Tushar Hiranandani's upcoming film "SRI", expected to be released in September. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Luv Ranjan's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar". The star will also be appearing next in Kunal Desh's "Adityam".
