The poster for Kamar Ahmad Simon's upcoming film, "Anyadin" (Day after…), has been released across social media.

"Anyadin" is the first Bangla film to be selected at the International Competition section of IDFA. The movie is set for its world premiere at the Pathé Tuschinski theatre in Amsterdam.

Kamar shared his ideas about the poster.

"Old Bangla cinema hoardings inspired the poster of 'Shunte Ki Pao!' and 'Neel Mukut' was a digital painting in blue, as the colour of agony. 'Anyadin…' begins with a quote from Lalon that connects the colours of Bangladeshi festivals, like the ones used in fancy items," he adds.

Artist Mustafizur Rahman Masud designed the poster, while poet Rahman Mofiz worked on the font.

'Anyadin…' is the second film of Kamar Ahmad Simon's water trilogy. The first film of the trilogy is 'Shunte Ki Pao!'.
