Pori Moni back in action after 2 years

Since the birth of her son Rajya, Pori Moni had taken a break to not only regain herself but to also spend quality time with her son.  Now, after a two-year-long hiatus, the actress is gearing up to start shooting her upcoming film "Story of Dodo".

Pori Moni will be seen playing the lead role in the film which was written and directed by Reza Ghatok. The director was also the one who handled the screenplay, script and dialogues of the production. 

Sharing her happiness on finally returning to the shooting set with this film, the actress said, "I have been waiting for this day for the last two years as it was really hard for me to stay away from filming. A film set is one of my most cherished and favourite places to be. My wait finally ends with 'Story of Dodo' and trust me it's a really exceptional story." 

According to the reports, Ahsan Habib Nasim has already joined Pori Moni for the film's first shooting day and actor Symon Sadik will also be joining them tomorrow.

"Story of Dodo" is a government grant-received film that is being produced by Zee Series. The production received a Tk 60 lakh grant in the financial year of 2021-22.

Moreover, Pori Moni has also signed a new Hoichoi web-series recently, based on Kingkor Ahsan's novel, "Rongila Kitab" which is scheduled to start production soon.
