Pantha Kanai to make his web-film debut with Tasnia Farin

Noted singer and musician Pantha Kanai has ventured into acting with Moin Hasan Dhrubo's "Dahokal".  He posted pictures from the set along with Tasnia Farin, on his official Facebook page. The singer was seen wearing a blue flowery printed shirt paired with greyish shorts, while Tasnia looked cute in white Kurti.

Pantha Kanai confirmed his debut in web film to The Daily Star.

"The director, Moin Hasan Dhrubo, is like a little brother to me. He really wanted me to act in this movie. However, I was really afraid, whether or not I would be able to act in front of the screen. Today was our first day of shooting,  and everybody told me that I was able to act naturally throughout my scenes. Apart from pursuing my passion for music, I plan on working in more OTT projects in future," said the singer.

The "Shamner Mashe Tomay Ekta Nouka Kine Debo" singer also talked about his mysterious role in the movie.

"I am playing the role of an ad agency owner, who has a tint of greyish shade to his character. He has to decide the fate of any model's future. Tasnia plays a model at my agency, and the film reflects on what goes around in the modelling business," added Pantha Kanai.

Apart from Pantha Kanai and Tasnia Farin, the web film also stars Yash Rohan in the film. The makers are planning on releasing the web film next year.
