‘Omor’ will mark Raz’s fifth directorial film

Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz will commence shooting his fifth directorial venture, "Omor", in July. The director's filmography includes "Projapoti", "Tarkata", "Samraat", and "Jodi Ekdin".

The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by Raz.

"We will start shooting for the film in July. No decision has been made regarding the casting as of yet," said Raz.

The director believes that a good film can have multiple streams of revenue. "Apart from local theatres, there are various ways for a movie to generate revenue or investment—through international releases, rights and sponsors," added the director.

Siddique Ahmed wrote the screenplay for the film, while Khorshed Alam will be producing it. "Omor" is being made under the banner of Master Communications.
