‘Mujib’ star Arifin Shuvoo admitted to hospital

Noted actor Arifin Shuvoo, who recently appeared as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Bangladesh's first biopic "Mujib: The Making of a Nation", has been admitted to the hospital today due to polyp issues.

Taking to his social media accounts, the actor shared the news with everyone. He said in the post, "I have been suffering from polyps for over a year now. Yet, in the last few months, this issue has become exceedingly prominent. I have also been suffering from sleep apnea as well as breathing problems."

He further added, "Amidst the busyness of completing 'Mujib', I could not make time to address my health issue and get proper medical treatment. Now, the situation has become so dire that I will have to undergo a small operation today in the afternoon."

Arifin Shuvoo requested everyone to pray for him. The actor also didn't forget to express his excitement over "Mujib" being screened in multiple cinema halls across the nation and promises to meet the audience in the cinema halls next week.

Apart from Arifin Shuvoo, the biopic also features a star-studded cast including Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Nusraat Faria, Chanchal Chowdhury, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Zayed Khan, amongst others.

Portraying the legacy of Bangladesh's founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, "Mujib: The Making of a Nation" was released in Bangladesh on October 13. The film is currently being screened in over 200 cinema halls across the nation.
