'Moshari' wins Jury's Choice award at Bucheon International Film Festival

Nuhash Humayun directorial "Moshari" has won the Jury's Choice award at the Bucheon International Film Festival in South Korea.

It is said to be the biggest genre film festival in Asia.

Penned by Nuhash Humayun himself, the critically acclaimed film is now making rounds in film festivals across the world.

Nuhash Humayun announced the news on his social media handle. He received the award with the film's lead actress, Sunerah Binte Kamal.

"I've witnessed the people appreciating our film and my acting and I can't thank my director Nuhash Humayun enough! He's indeed a hard working and a creative one! So proud and happy to be a part of this project", she wrote on Facebook.

The film had previously won the jury award at the SXSW Film Festival in the USA, and the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland.

During an interview with horror magazine, Fangoria, Nuhash had previously shared that his childhood memories serve as an inspiration for the film.
