Mithila to appear in spy thriller next, opposite to Jeetu Kamal

After donning the dynamic role of a modern lady Macbeth in Raajhorshee De's "Mayaa", Rafiath Rashid Mithila is now gearing up for Dulal Dey's upcoming spy-thriller project "Aranyer Prachin Probad".

According to media reports, Mithila will be paired with Indian actor Jeetu Kamal in this new film.

Director Dulal Dey spoke about his project, saying, "My story has many shades. The hero is different from others - he doesn't spy intentionally. He's a medical student with a passion for cricket, who becomes a detective unexpectedly when he gets entangled in a mystery. He also has a love for Bengali literature."

Jeetu Kamal, who plays the detective, mentioned, "I've been offered detective roles before, like Kiriti, but Feluda and Byomkesh are more commercial here. This detective character is unique; he doesn't spy on purpose but by chance. I saw it as a great opportunity to grow as an actor and accepted."

In addition to Mithila and Jeetu, "Aranyer Prachin Probad" features Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Silajit Majumder, Loknath Dey, and others.

Bangladeshi actress Mithila recently gained praise for her role in Chorki's web series "Myself Allen Swapan" and for her portrayal of a modern Lady Macbeth in Raajhorshee De's "Mayaa", a contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth".
