Mamo’s two web series releasing in August

Zakia Bari Mamo has been on a roll since the beginning of this year. With the release of two thought-provoking movies, "Ora 7 Jon" and "Radio," both set in the context of the great liberation war, Mamo's performances have garnered praise and admiration from the audience.

Not only has Mamo left a mark in cinema, but she has also made her presence felt in the world of OTT. 

Keeping the momentum going, Zakia Bari Mamo recently announced two new web series that are set to be released on different OTT platforms next month. The first one is "Sharey Shawlo," directed by Yasir Al Haque, while the second is "Agochora," directed by Siddiq Ahamed.

"Sharey Shawlo" weaves a mysterious tale set on a mysterious hotel floor. Mamo takes on the role of journalist Rini, a renowned TV journalist with strong connections to powerful figures in the city. The intriguing storyline leaves the audience wondering why Rini finds herself on the sixteen-and-a-half floor of the Violet Inn Hotel on that fateful night.

Adding to the intrigue, Afran Nisho portrays the role of a lawyer in "Sharey Shawlo." The series is all set to premiere on Hoichoi on August 17, creating anticipation among fans and viewers.

Meanwhile, "Agochora" delves into the underworld of old Dhaka, where politics entangle the life of a common boy, leading him into the world of crime. Director Siddiq Ahmed teases that the series will unfold the transformation of an ordinary boy into a pawn in the treacherous underworld. 

In "Agochora," Mamo plays the character of Monika. The series will be released on Binge next month.
