As long as I am alive, won't let anyone harm Shakib: Apu Biswas

Apu Biswas wants to shield Shakib Khan from controversies, as she feels that a lot of people are trying to ruin his image by using his name in the media. 

In an interview with a local media, the actor was full of praises about the "Priyotoma" star. 

"Shakib Khan is our industry's canvas, our biggest 'billboard'. I want his position as the superstar to remain upheld. However, some people are trying to harm his upcoming film by saying bad things during the promotion of his movie. To try and harm Shakib's image is trying to destroy our film industry. As long as I am alive, I won't let anyone harm Shakib. I am there and I will always be beside Shakib's 'Priyotoma'," said the actor. 

When asked whether this was a direct dig towards Bubly, the actor said that she isn't going to name anyone. 

"I don't want to say anyone's name. Whoever is trying to ruin Shakib's image, they are only trying to ruin the film industry," added the actor. 

Shakib's "Priyotoma" and Apu Biswas' "Laal Sari" will be released in theaters this Eid. "Laal Sari" will mark Apu's first production, and she will be seen opposite Symon Sadik in the film. 

On the other hand, Bubly's two films "Casino" and "Prohelika'' will also be competing with the rest of the Eid release films as well.
