Kochi Khondokar remains single in wait for Argentina’s World Cup win

The craze surrounding the FIFA World Cup has taken over the entire nation, with popular TV series "Bachelor's Football" and "Chirokumar Songho" utilising Bangladeshi fan's love for Argentina and Brazil in their storylines.

Recently, Kochi Khondokar, has joined the group of "Chirokumar Songho" as a die-hard fan of Argentina. His character's name is 'Paka Mondol' and he remains single, as he has pledged to remain unmarried until Argentina wins a World Cup. Thus, due to Argentina's failure to capture the biggest trophy in international football—in recent years—Mondol grows old and remains single.

Directed by Tuhin Hossain, the drama will feature World Cup-related episodes today. The popular series also features Brazil fan, Bappi Ashraf, in the drama.

"Chirokumar Songho" also stars Salahuddin Lavlu, Marzuk Russell, Arosh Khan and Faria Shahrin, among others. The show airs every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 9:30 pm on a private channel.
