Kajal Arefin Ome coming with 'Bachelor’s Football'

As football lovers wait for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to begin from November 20, director Kajal Arefin Ome will bring a brand-new 'Bachelor's' instalment, titled "Bachelor's Football". The telefilm will be aired on November 21, at 9 pm, on the Youtube Channel of Dhrubo TV.

"This is my first work which is related to sports," shares the director. "From the very beginning of my career, I have had this plan to direct a sports centric project."

Ome, who is always keen on targeting special events including the previous "Bachelor's Ramadan'' and "Bachelor's Qurbani", mentioned that this project will enhance the joy of the upcoming world cup. "I felt that the audience will enjoy this plot, as during the world cup a tension between Brazil and Argentina arises, and surrounding this issue many incidents happen."

"Bachelor's Football" will feature Ziaul Hoque Polash (Kabila), Chashi Alam (Habu), Marzuk Russell (Pasha), Mishu Sabbir (Shuvo), and Shimul Sharma (Shimul). The director also informed The Daily Star that the telefilm will be focused on the reactions and activities surrounding the football world cup, by the members of the 'Bachelor' family.

Ome also shared that he will begin shooting for his debut OTT project by the end of this month. The dark comedy web series will stream in Bongo BD.
