‘John Wick 5’ in early development 

Lionsgate Films has confirmed the upcoming fifth installment of the highly successful "John Wick" franchise, following the tremendous success of "John Wick: Chapter 4", starring Keanu Reeves.

During Lionsgate's Q4 2023 earnings call, Motion Picture Group chairman Joe Drake revealed that "John Wick 5" is currently in the early stages of development. The franchise is expanding its universe beyond the blockbuster films, with plans for spin-offs and television series. "Ballerina", the first spin-off, is already in the works and slated for release next year. 

Directed by Chad Stahelski, "John Wick: Chapter 4" showcased Reeves' exceptional performance as the legendary assassin, seeking vengeance against the formidable High Table. 

The film has been a resounding success, earning USD 363 million globally since its release on March 24.
