'Jawan' to release on Netflix

Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jawan" has already created a frenzy worldwide on September 7. The film has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally and remains sold out in most theatres in its second week. 

Now, "Jawan" will be available on the OTT platform as well. According to India Today, Netflix is leading the race to acquire the OTT rights. However, nothing has been fully finalised yet. 

According to multiple sources, the satellite rights, comprising digital, satellite, and music rights of the film were purchased for Rs 250 crore.

The action film might debut on the OTT platform at the end of October. The film will be available on streaming platforms 45 to 60 days after its theatrical release. 

"Jawan" grossed a whopping Rs 75 crore on its first distribution day. After its debut weekend in India, the film is expected to earn over 400 crore rupees. 

Atlee Kumar's directorial "Jawan" stars an ensemble cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani.
