Nawazuddin Siddiqui's first look from his upcoming film "Haddi" has created a lot of buzz on the internet. The actor, who plays dual roles in the movie, is seen dressed as a woman in the poster. In a recent interview, Nawazuddin revealed that he now understands why actresses take so much time to get ready for shooting.

Discussing how he now has newfound respect for actresses, he told the Bombay Times, "My daughter was very upset when she saw me dressed as a woman. She now knows that it's for a film and is fine. I must say that, after this experience, I have a huge level of respect for actresses who do this on a daily basis."

"If I play a female character, I need to think like a woman, and that's my test as an actor," added Nawazuddin.

Regarding the challenge of playing the role of a transgender woman in the film, the actor said, "An actor's job is to get into the head of the character he plays. Your perception and outlook towards life as a woman is bound to be different, and that was one of the most difficult parts about 'Haddi' for me. It took me three hours every day to just get ready for shooting."

Meanwhile, in terms of other projects, Nawazuddin has an interesting lineup of films including "Tiku Weds Sheru", "Noorani Chehra", and "Adbhut", among others.
