I try to live every day to the fullest: Jewel Aich

Renowned magician Jewel Aich always knew in his heart that he was born to be a magician. Through his entertaining tricks, he spellbound the entire country. Today marks the birthday of the noted magician, who believes in living life to the fullest and enjoying every second of it.

In a conversation with The Daily Star, the magician shared some of his most precious childhood memories, and much more.

"We really didn't have the culture of celebrating birthdays during our childhood. I got acquainted with the whole idea after growing up and gaining success. Nowadays, I get lots of calls from well-wishers from the country and abroad during my birthdays. This really makes me feel good," shared Jewel Aich.

The magician believes in living life to the fullest and that we really need to experience the beauty of life.

"I see life on a positive note. It's such a beautiful thing to breathe and experience life at it's best. Every day I am thankful to the Almighty for giving me such a wonderful life. I truly cherish every second of it," said the magician.

Jewel Aich believes that sadness is just a part of life and that we need to move forward after our sorrows to progress. We cannot simply stop if sadness captures our life and we become immobile. The beauty of life is taking everything sportingly and enjoying every second of it.

"I have received many surprises on my birthday. I can remember one moment where I went to South Korea and they took us there on a special plane. When I arrived there, they took me to a hall room where everyone shouted 'Happy Birthday'. I was really not expecting this, as I totally forgot about my birthday. They also had a special cake arranged for me, which made my international experience wonderful," noted the master of many tricks.

Jewel Aich isn't drawn by materialistic gifts, as people's love and birthday wishes is what really gives him joy. However, his close friends and well-wishers have showered him with lavish gifts such as a gold watches or expensive pens.

"I want to spend my coming days with everyone's love, as in my opinion, it is one of the greatest feelings, in the whole world, to be loved," concluded the magician.
