'I love to dress up glamorously for award shows close to my heart'

Sallha Khanam Nadia is a prominent face in Television but she made a stunning entry in OTT when she bagged Best Supporting Actress award (popular category) for Vicky Zahed's web-film "Redrum" at the Blender's Choice-The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2022. 

The actress looked gorgeous in a salmon pink gown by She-Style Heritage, while her makeover was done by glam makeover. 

During her acceptance speech, the actress was full of praises for her "Redrum" team and director Vicky Zahed. 

"I am really happy to accept an award from Shahiduzzaman Selim and Rosey Siddique. I want to thank the Almighty first and then Vicky Zahed for giving me such a wonderful role," said the actress. 

When the actress arrived at the stage, the host asked the awardee whether she knew that she was going to win the award as she had dressed up so nicely for the programme. 

"Whenever I go to an award function or at an event which is really close to my heart. I love to dress up elegantly for the programme. If I get an award well that's just an added bonus. I would also like to thank my 'Redrum' co-artistes Nisho, Mehazabien, Manoj Pramanik. This is my first OTT project and I am grateful that I was able to showcase my talent," added the actress. 

Vicky Zahed's "Redrum" dominated the popular category as it won Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress at the Blender's Choice-The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2022.
