I have never witnessed Shabana being arrogant: Sohel Rana on Shabana’s birthday 

Today marks the birthday of noted actor Shabana, who stepped into the world of cinema in the 1960s. She last appeared in the 1997 film, "Ghore Ghore Juddho". In 2000, she permanently settled in the USA, and has been out of the limelight for over two decades.

Known as the "Dhallywood Queen," Shabana has captivated audiences with her elegant on-screen presence and unmatched acting skills. Her contributions to the industry have been significant, making her a celebrated figure in the golden era of cinema.

Sohel Rana, who shared remarkable on-screen chemistry with Shabana, reminisces about their enduring bond and collaboration. 

"I have known Shabana for many years. We not only acted together as hero and heroine, but she also collaborated through my production company on many films. My first production featured Shabana in the movie "Ora Egaro Jon". I have countless memories with her throughout my acting career," Rana fondly recalls.

In describing Shabana's remarkable personality, Rana emphasises her humble nature. "I have never witnessed Shabana being arrogant, neither on nor off the shooting set. She remains true to herself and is unmatched in her achievements. Her name alone speaks volumes, and her contributions to the history of cinema are unparalleled," he praises.

Shabana's versatility as an artiste is highlighted by Rana, who admires her ability to excel in various genres of films. 

"Shabana has showcased her immense talent in films with a social message, romantic films, and period pieces. Her acting prowess knows no bounds. She is a true artiste through and through," Rana adds.

Beyond her artistic abilities, Rana commends Shabana for her simplicity and down-to-earth nature. "Shabana is not only a phenomenal artiste but also a wonderful human being. Her genuine simplicity has always impressed me. It shines through her face and resonates with audiences," he reveals.

As a Bengali himself, Rana acknowledges Shabana's profound impact on the hearts of Bengali moviegoers. "While watching her films that encompass the Bengali society, she truly feels like a part of our lives,creating connections like no other. It's no wonder she has an immeasurable fan base spanning cities and villages. Shabana evokes emotions in her audiences, making them laugh, cry, and fall in love," Rana expresses with admiration.
